Alumni Society Board Nomination Form

The Alumni Society of Penn State’s College of Communications is a 27-member volunteer advisory group that plans events, meetings and other support activities for the College, its students and alumni. It is free to join and no donations are required. Board members are graduates of the College and its Penn State forebears.
Terms are three years, with a maximum of two concurrent terms. The Board holds meetings twice a year on the University Park campus and attendance is mandatory for membership. The Board has several committees, which meet throughout the year via conference calls.
All interested parties need to complete a nomination. It is permitted to nominate yourself. All bona fide graduates of the College of Communications and its forebears are eligible to vote in elections to select new Board members.
All persons who are currently members of the Penn State Alumni Association and who have completed one semester or two terms in the College of Communications and/or its predecessors (program areas) or those who have declared this constituent alumni society as their preferred society shall be eligible to be a Board member.
