Ronald Smith joined the Department of Advertising/Public Relations after teaching two years full-time at Oklahoma State University as a visiting instructor of advertising and visual communications. Smith, a graphic designer, has accumulated 10 years of experience in advertising, graphic design and associated areas of communication such as public relations and journalism.
For four-and-a-half years Smith was employed by a design-staffing agency, Aquent, where he served as a senior-level communications designer. At Aquent, Smith worked with clients such as: AARP, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Discovery Channel and America’s Community Bankers. Before Aquent, Smith worked as a production artist at a Cleveland-based recruitment ad agency, Nationwide Advertising Service.
